Miss Payten turned the big "1" last April and I had the privilege to take her pictures. She wasn't so sure at first but quickly warmed up to the camera. We did her 1 year session on one day and then the next day I went to her First Birthday Party to capture all the gatherings as well as her smashing her first cake. She is an adorable doll, enjoy a look back on her 1 Year Photos!
Studying up for school already and to play on the fact her Mom was a teacher!
She didn't stay put for long when standing, she wanted to run!

Flash the cat came along for some family photos, which made for fun trying to get a cat & 1 year old to stay put & be happy!
I always encourage parents to bring the child's favorite plush or toys along, they make for great memorable & personal props to preserve that moment in time!
Day 2 was Party Day & She loved her cake. Eating eat, smashing it, and being in the spotlight with all her family!
