Easter Mini Sessions 2013 - Plattsmouth Photographer

I love doing Easter themed Mini Sessions.  I plan on doing them again in 2014, but here is a look back at some from a few families last Easter.  Depending on weather they are held outside in Plattsmouth or in this case we did them inside.  Usually it's just the kids, but sometimes I'll grab one with parents too. Excited to come up with ideas for the next ones as I love Easter!

Liam 6 mo., 9 mo., & 1 Year Plattsmouth Photographer

I have had the pleasure to photograph Liam here at 6 months, 9 months, and 1 Year. I'm so glad to have gotten to know him and his parents. His mom, Kinsey, is a photographer too at Nixon Photography, so it's fun to talk 'shop' ya know.  He is one smart dude and seeing him grow over the months was fun and I'm sure he'll be up to lots of antics in his future!  Here are a few pictures from his sessions this past year!

1 Year Old!
Love his expression here!

This wooden setup is my creation for photo session, I'm pretty proud of it and it can be decorated many ways.

He was a quick walker & loved to take off, and oh so happy about it!

Pumpkins of course for Fall 1 Year Olds!

Big Grin!

Proud to be a Husker!

Who? What? Where? When? and Why?

"Hey up there, I'm just hanging out in a chest ya know"

9 months & Rockin'
Love his little tattoo Mom put on him!

Loved this idea of the motorcycle theme that Mom had!

The wind in his hair without a care in the world, except bottles and diapers and wrapping Mom & Dad around his little fingers! Ha!

"Yeah, I'm cool!"  These were taken in Plattsmouth's downtown, it has great character and perfect for this themed session.

6 Months!
and standing if he can hold on to something, pretty good balance I say!

Patrick Plattsmouth Omaha Newborn Photographer

Patrick came in for his newborn session and was cranky at first because he wouldn't eat since he had gas, being a baby is rough!  We were able to get a few shots with his big brother then he finally ate and went into a deep slumber.  I went to school with his Mom, but it had been I think since 16 years since I'd seen her, so it was fun to catch up and also meet Patrick's Dad.  Here are some pictures from his Newborn session!

Brothers, Pals, Best Buds!

I had whipped up this blue hat & scarf the night before and what was amazing was his Mom brought in this blue sweater that matched perfectly.  He looks like a winter snow elf!

Big Eyes, I love getting some shots with their eyes open!

This blanket was his, incorporating personal items is always special!

He is a "little Turkey" being born by Thanksgiving this year, gobble gobble!

Basketball is the sport of choice in this family, so glad Mom & Dad brought along the hat & ball, I think he and his brother will be playing in the future!

Sweet Dreams!

I had switched to my Macro lens to get close-ups and then he started smiling big, so a nice close up of his big ol' smile!

Always have to get the baby feet and toes

Winter baby slumber!

Santa Elf Baby, dreaming of Christmas!

I just happen to have this little Mickey Ears (if you know me that's not hard to believe) and Mom & Dad brought in this booties and they matched perfectly, M-I-C-K-E-Y!

It is Christmas time and Mom brought in this bow tie, too cute with his little tongue too!

and they brought in a little tie too, seriously can he get any cuter! He is a big boy so I was happy he fit in this little sled!

Dashing through the snow, Jingle Bells.......

Finishing off with a little smile as he dreams of Christmas Joy!
